Music tuition

Picture 1

In addition to the provision of Music in the National Curriculum, parents may wish their children to learn a musical instrument. There are a number of places  available for tuition for KS2 pupils in violin, clarinet and brass.

There is an additional cost for this tuition of £20 per term. This is a charge subsidised by the school.

Parents should apply at the beginning of each half-term in writing if they wish their child to be considered for music tuition.

St. Patrick’s has a school brass band led for many years by Mr. Framingham our brass instrument teacher. The band perform at key school events  including the annual summer concert. They also take part in interschool concerts and perform for the local community in the parish and at our neighbouring senior citizens sheltered accommodation.

Children also perform in music lessons and at an annual summer concert.
