Armistice Day at St. Patrick's

The first world war ended on the 11th November 1st 1918.

An extract from a letter written by James Colliston. He recalls how his father Mr Colliston, Headmaster of the Boys School from 1910-1939, marked the first Armistice Day.

Close to one million people died in World War I from the United Kingdom. The fallen from the Parish are remembered in a memorial in the Chapel.
