When choosing a Greenwich secondary school for your child it is important to consult the 'Choosing a Secondary School in Greenwich' guidance. This is sent home with the children but is also available to download from the
Greenwich council website.
How do I apply for a secondary school place for my child? Step 1 When you have decided on the schools you would prefer your child to attend complete the Greenwich common application form and submit it to Greenwich Admissions Section online or by post. (usually by the end of October) This form is sent home with your child and is also downloadable from the
Greenwich council website.
Greenwich Admissions Section will use the admissions criteria to allocate places. Step 2 If you wish to include any of the following schools in your list of preferred schools you will also need to complete a supplementary information form if you are applying under the faith criteria. This form is available from the relevant school or from the
Greenwich council website.

- St Paul's Academy
- St Thomas More RC School
- St Ursula’s Convent School
Submit to the school (usually by the end of October)
The school will use its own admission criteria to allocate places. When do I find out the result? Greenwich Admissions Section will inform you of the school where your child has been allocated a place. The outcome will be posted to you by first class post usually on 1 March. If you have applied online you will be able to view the outcome from 7.00am on 2 March
