School Uniform

We are proud of our school uniform. It reflects communal standards and identity. The uniform requirements are as detailed below.

             Boys
A white shirt, school tie, black trousers, bottle green pullover, and sensible shoes. In the summer, white polo t-shirts with the school crest may be worn.

             Girls
A white blouse, school tie, a bottle green cardigan, bottle green skirt, pinafore dress or plain black straight trousers and sensible shoes. The summer dress is a green and white check, and sensible shoes. The following items are available for purchase from the school Office:

      Children who qualify for free meals are also eligible for a School Clothing Grant.


      As regards Governors Fund
      • £6.00 per term for one child (£18.00 a year)
      • £10.00 per term for two children (£30.00 a year)
      • £15.00 per term for three or more children (£45.00 a year)

      All clothing, especially coats, need to be marked with your child’s name. Children should wear 'sensible shoes' rather than trainers. Trainers may be brought to school so that children can change for PE, playtime and lunchtime.


PE Kit

      Indoor PE:

      • Plain white short sleeved top
      • Black shorts

      Outdoor PE:

      • Black tracksuit with top and bottoms (Many ingenious parents have found that a black top and black track suit bottoms are easier to find than a black tracksuit.)
      • Suitable footwear

                     

        Clothing should be plain and not have any motifs, however, some children do have a school badge sewn on to the tracksuits. All children should wear the appropriate school PE Kit.



        For swimming, boys should wear swimming shorts and girls a swimming costume. Swimming hats must be worn in the pool. Swimming goggles are not necessary.

          
We do not allow earrings to be worn in school.
    Hair should not be shaved, stepped, patterned or worn in other extremes of current fashion.
