Our Faith

St Patrick's is a Catholic School and as such works with parents and the parishes to support the Faith development of our children.
All children are encouraged to grow in their own spiritual development. We do this through Prayer, Liturgy and meaningful life experiences such as fundraising for particular charitable causes.

Parents have a very strong role to play in their child’s Faith story. By helping their children to pray, taking them to weekly mass and preparing them for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist.

In school worship takes the form of assemblies, daily prayers at lunchtime and the end of day, class masses and assemblies, whole school masses, Benediction at the end of each term and Penitential Services twice a year for those children who have made their First Holy Communion before Christmas and Easter.

We have strong links with St Patricks Parish Plumstead and Holy Cross Parish Plumstead Common.

We have good relationships and links with the other local Catholic Primary and Secondary Schools in our area and have direct links to the Diocesan Commission for Schools and colleges.
