Lunch time

Picture 1

At St. Patrick’s, parents may choose to provide their children with a healthy packed lunch or purchase a hot meal in school. We work in partnership with Greenwich Council recommended GS Plus who provide a healthy and balanced selection of food each day with a choice of meals and salad options.

School meals are currently available free to all children in Key Stage One (Reception to Year 2).

At Key Stage 2, meals cost £8 per week ( £1.60 a day) and this should be brought into school by your child in a marked envelope and given to their teacher in the morning.

Free school meals

Some children are entitled to free meals at school and additional funding is also given by the government  to schools based on the number of pupils eligible for free meals. This is to support further educational attainment for free school meal pupils and is of great benefit to the school so we would encourage any parents who are eligible to consider applying.

This extra money could go towards things like extra tuition, learning assistants and after-school activities.

To sign up for school meals, you will need to complete a pupil benefits registration/application form. Please download and fill out the form below, or collect a paper copy from the school office.
